Rules for RefChat

Conduct

Conduct yourself in a professional manner. Refer to the Code of Ethics for Referees within the USSF Referee Administrative Handbook for specific guidelines. Your message to the list may reach hundreds or thousands of referees, and it will be archived, so think twice before clicking "send".

Topics

Acceptable topics include tournament listings, how to contact other referees and administrators, D2SRA.org web site updates, questions about that call you or another referee made, changes to the Laws of the Game, upcoming clinics, games on TV or that you attend, registration and assessment procedures, and so on.

Postings that are deemed to be off-topic or inappropriate shall be removed from the archive.

Enforcement

Violation of any of the Rules for RefChat may result in disciplinary action including suspension or banishment from RefChat, or referral to the State Referee Ethics Committee. The decision of the List Administrator on subscription to the list is final.
